In-Home & Homebound
Vaccinations

A licensed pharmacist comes to you.

For patients who cannot easily get to a pharmacy or physician's office, we bring the vaccines to the residence. A Florida-licensed pharmacist administers every dose under a physician-approved standing order, with the same screening, consent, and documentation used at any of our clinics.

Who this is for

In-home visits are intended for patients for whom travel is a genuine barrier to care.

  • Homebound patients and those with limited mobility
  • Patients recovering from surgery or an acute illness
  • Caregivers vaccinating an entire household in a single visit
  • Patients without reliable transportation

Service visit fee

Vaccines are billed to insurance. For most patients with Medicare, Medicaid, or commercial coverage, there is no charge for the vaccine itself. A one-time service visit fee applies to smaller visits, covering travel and pharmacist time.

Four or more patients in the same home? The visit fee is waived. Whole-household and family visits carry no service visit fee.

For visits of three patients or fewer, a one-time flat service visit fee applies, based on location:

Service areaOne-time visit fee
Palm Beach County$75
Broward County$100
Martin County$100
St. Lucie County$150
Northern Miami-Dade CountyAventura, Sunny Isles Beach, Bal Harbour, Surfside, North Miami Beach, North Miami, Miami Shores, Miami Gardens, Opa-locka, Hialeah, Miami Lakes, Doral, Miami Springs$125
Southern Miami-Dade CountyMiami, Miami Beach, Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, West Miami, South Miami, Pinecrest, Kendall, Palmetto Bay, Cutler Bay, Homestead, Florida City$150

Miami-Dade: generally, north of SR-836 (the Dolphin Expressway) falls in the $125 area and south of it falls in the $150 area. If your city is not listed, or you are not sure which side you are on, call or text and we will confirm it for you.

The service visit fee is a flat, one-time charge per visit — not per patient and not per vaccine. It is separate from the vaccines themselves, which are billed to insurance. We verify your coverage and confirm any out-of-pocket cost with you before the visit is scheduled. If you are not sure which area you fall in, call or text and we will confirm it.

What to expect

  1. Request a visit. Book online or call. Tell us how many people in the household need vaccines.
  2. We verify coverage. Before anything is scheduled, we check your insurance and confirm what, if anything, you will owe.
  3. We confirm a time. Visits are scheduled at your convenience, including evenings and weekends where available.
  4. The pharmacist arrives. Screening, consent, administration, and a printed vaccination record — typically under twenty minutes.
  5. Records are filed. Every dose is reported to Florida SHOTS, the state immunization registry.
Age eligibility: All vaccines are administered to adults age 18 and older. Influenza vaccines may also be administered to patients age 7 and older.

Common questions

Is the vaccine itself free?

For most patients with Medicare, Medicaid, or commercial insurance, yes — the vaccine is billed directly to your plan. We verify your benefits before scheduling and tell you the exact cost up front if your plan leaves a balance.

Why is there a visit fee for smaller visits?

The fee covers travel and the pharmacist's time for a dedicated trip. For visits of four or more patients, the visit supports itself and the fee is waived.

Which vaccines can you bring?

Flu, COVID-19, shingles, RSV, pneumococcal, Tdap/Td, and hepatitis A and B, among others. Tell us what you need when you book and we will confirm availability.

Do I need to know what I am due for?

No. The pharmacist can review your record in Florida SHOTS with you during the visit and identify anything you may be due for.

How far in advance should I book?

Vaccines are ordered ahead of the visit, so a few days of notice is helpful. Call or text if you need something sooner and we will do our best.

Ready to schedule?

Book online, or call and we will walk you through it.

On-Site Pharmacy Oversight
for Florida Institutions

Our Florida-licensed Consultant Pharmacist provides monthly on-site clinical oversight for assisted living facilities, group homes, and other residential care institutions — replacing the phone-it-in chain pharmacy consultant with engaged, local clinical expertise.

For Facility Administrators

Real Clinical Partnership, Not a Distant Vendor

F.A.C. 58A-5.0185 requires consultant pharmacist oversight for medication management. Most facilities default to whatever consultant their dispensing pharmacy provides — often with minimal actual engagement. We deliver structured monthly service with measurable value.

  • Monthly on-site Medication Regimen Review (MRR)
  • Quarterly staff training on medication safety and administration
  • Annual P&P review and pre-survey readiness assessment
  • As-needed clinical consultations and incident review
  • Available for AHCA inspection support
For Directors of Nursing

A Pharmacist Who Knows Your Residents

When your consultant pharmacist actually visits the facility monthly, reviews charts in person, and is available for clinical questions, your nursing staff gains a true clinical partner — and your residents get better medication care.

  • Polypharmacy review and deprescribing recommendations
  • Drug interaction analysis and dose optimization
  • Geriatric pharmacology expertise (Beers Criteria, STOPP/START)
  • Direct line of communication for urgent clinical questions
  • Bilingual service available (English / Spanish)
